The Pyramid

That was an afternoon full of sleuthing which we love! The puzzles were challenging, just enough, but kept us intently focused on trying to get through to the end. Looking forward to trying the next one!

First of all, the illustrations are beautiful! Everything is really well made and throughout the whole game I just kept thinking of the effort they’ve put into making it.
I was also surprised with how fun it was! At first, I bought it to play with my nephew and I thought it’d be too easy, but while testing it beforehand with my husband, it turned out to be a great date activity. We had so much fun. And my nephew loved it too!

I love this store on Etsy. We have purchased multiple printable escape room games from Mystery Locks in the past, and my kiddos really enjoy them. They even learned to work together!! They are challenging but solveable and and a great way to entertain! Thank you we are looking forward to our Pyramid game now!

Loved the story and the puzzles. It was a lot of fun. Only concern was that the diary pages were so small it was hard for my old eyes to read. Luckily my printer could enlarge them.

I was happy with the product. I wish it had been a little more clear that a computer/phone was necessary to do the activity, but the seller was very responsive and helpful.

Got this for my dad for Christmas and played with with the family. He’s great with puzzles and it was still challenging enough!

I had issues with downloading the product (completely my fault). However, the seller worked with me to make sure I was able to download and print it off.

Did this to surprise my wife with a date! Was able to put it all together and still be able to do the escape room without knowing the answers 😁
We have already ordered more!

The setup on this thing is outrageous. I bailed after 3 hours in and it looked like total garbage using standard printer paper. If you put the extra money and time into printing on nice paper, then take a whole day to construct this thing it may be fine. By that point though, you might as well just buy a professionally done escape room, or just pay the money to go to one. Would not recommend this at this pricepoint.

Grabbed this for my wife and I to work through. The pictures are great and there are plenty of materials for the money. That being said, the setup is just ridiculous. It took over 45 minutes to simply cut everything out, and another 30 to fold and glue everything together. We haven’t even played it yet and I already am over the whole thing. Also, the images and 3-d models are so tiny. I’ve ordered from these guys before and the modules were great. This one is a huge disappointment from those I’ve ordered in the past. If you want to put 2+ hours into setting this up, great. If not, be warned

My students loved this escape room. They loved all of the great puzzles that were a part of it. I have some suggestions to make it better. They ran out of time due to the fact that once you enter a code the timer gets reset for the clues to show up again. So if you try to enter a code after using the first hint, the time for the hints to show up starts over and you have to wait a minute per hint every single time on each puzzle. It really slows down the group's ability to work efficiently. Maybe take off the timing of the hints after the first time.

Beautiful graphics. I printed all of the pieces out for the escape room. The children will love it.

A challenging start but once we understood the game, we had so much fun unlocking every magical puzzle and diving into each new adventure. Thank you for such an amazing family game!

The games are all very engaging and creative, the materials are well-crafted and detailed. I only recommend considering making the translation of the materials easier, to allow their use in other languages.

Printables were great and the game looked wonderful!

We loved the experience. Both building and playing were fun. I found the puzzles to be fair and thought provoking. Definitely recommend.

Artwork - Pretty, but TINY font-size throughout, and unless printed at VERY high-res, some require a magnifying glass.

Parts - Parts have ZERO cut tolerance. Carefully lined up cuts and glued, but some pieces would not assemble, and had to be further trimmed into the artwork area for assembly. Further, cut/build time was 3+ hrs.

Puzzles - More than 1 part made no sense, even after the solutions. A couple others had codes already solved by the time we read the entries, so they weren't even really 'puzzles'.

App - The app reset halfway through, so we had to "re-solve" a couple parts and re-enter all codes to make it back through. In addition, the 2-page journal at the end shows a code entry screen and locked up, despite no further prompts/puzzles.

Summary - Parts were OK, but overall was more frustrating than fun.

We've done two of these games at our library and they worked very well.

Only comment is that the teens I printed this for are struggling reading the cursive font 😂 love the game though

Probably the most interesting escape I've ever been through!

We played for my 12 yr olds bday and had a great time! Thankful for the hints it took them a while to figure out but they enjoyed.

This escape room was fun with just the right amount of challenge. We enjoyed the 3D design and had no issue with the set up. There was one puzzle that did not work out. It was the tile puzzle, which the solution image did not match the puzzle. Otherwise, all the other puzzles were great.
