It was great! We printed two sets and had two teams to see who can get out of their room the fastest. The ages range from 7year old to 23 year old. It was so fun!
This is the fourth year in a row that our adult kids and their children have split into two teams and competed in a Christmas Escape Room. This was the hardest one yet. No one escaped. But partly my fault because I had failed to cut one set of little dotted lines. Be sure to do every part. Even our kids from Cincinnati who go to Breakout Games regularly and have always escaped did not succeed. However, these same kids told me that it was the best one they had ever done. They sat and figured out my muscular and finished just for fun. All in all, great job!
My children (all adults and married) look forward to the challenges I find for them on holidays. Escape rooms have become a tradition. The more challenging the better. This one they needed the clues. I removed the answer on the clue folds to make them work for it. Next time I will give just one clue at a time, not the whole thing in the envelope. Everything printed beautifully and they really liked the way it presented itself. Look forward to our next challenge.
Super fun escape room! Easy to print, cut and set up. I printed 4 sets and split our large family into groups to solve. Everyone had a great time!
Great game. Great even for English learners. I tried it with some of my students and they had fun with it. I will be getting more games soon.
We had a blast with this. Took 8 adults about 50 minutes to complete the mystery.

I ordered a couple of Christmas kits for our two different family gatherings, due to some unexpected circumstances we weren’t able to start the escape room kit for either gathering. I did take the time to print and assemble everything and I am very excited to try the kits when we gather in 2026. I was very impressed with the instructions and the kits themselves, very well done!
We really enjoyed the escape room on New Year's Eve. We printed two copies and split into teams. We had a printing malfunction that resulted in one of the teams running into issues, but otherwise it was great fun.

Every Christmas we do an Escape Room. This year's was a favorite!
Good quality files! Easy to use. Clear instructions. Worked well and my daughters had fun figuring out the puzzles.
I used this as a game for our family Christmas party and it went well. Though some of the puzzles seemed quite easy to solve, others were challenging and we enjoyed playing it.
Last year, we bought "The Pirate Box" Escape Room from Mystery Locks to use for our high school's Spring Banquet. We tweaked the story a little and gave it a "Goonies" intro, inviting the students to free "One-Eyed Willie!" We went all out, building a room that modeled the inside of a Pirate ship, complete with skeletons and treasure! The students had a blast! We are looking forward to this year's banquet as we tackle "The Venice Heist!" Thank you, Mystery Locks!

Had it printed at FedEx and adapted it slightly for our 12 year old's party, but it was super fun for them!

Game was great! I do wish there were more instructions on how to prep the game. There was one clue that you needed to cut up and I didn't do that before hand but it still worked. I printed 3 copies and we had 3 teams that raced to get the answer. It was nice to have an answer person as there are no instructions or clues for each puzzle. Our answer person was able to tell us which puzzle to go back to and work on. In the end we cracked the code!
