Welcome to the Haunted Catacombs, where the shadows hide secrets of the past and the bones of the dead whisper eerie tales. You've always been fascinated by the stories of this mysterious underground labyrinth, and now you have the chance to explore it. But be warned: the darkness is absolute, and the air thick with the scent of death. As you venture deeper into the Catacombs, strange whispers and creaks surround you, making your heart race with fear. Suddenly, the metal door slams shut behind you, trapping you in this macabre place. Your only hope is to solve the puzzles that lurk within the Catacombs and escape before it's too late. Will you have the courage to uncover the secrets of the Catacombs and make it out alive?

Why we're obsessed with DIY Escape Rooms

We started making escape rooms for each other to play at home, and now we've designed over 100!

Before MysteryLocks was even an idea, we discovered escape room games in all possible formats. When we ran out of games to play, we started creating our own.

Solving escape room puzzles using things we found around the house, we had hours of fun! So we want you to feel the same thrill without leaving your home.

I never played a real Escape Room. Will I be able to play?

You don't need any prior experience to play an escape room at home.

Each game includes instructions and answer sheets, as well as an intuitive gameplay.

Do I need a game master to supervise the game?

All of our games have an intuitive, linear gameplay.

No master is needed to guide the game.

I have a large group I want to prepare the game for. How many can play the game at once?

What we love about our games is the versatility.

Have a large group? Split it into small teams (we suggest up to five, but it's totally up to you).

Print a set of materials for each group, and you're good to go!

If I set up the game, will it spoil the game for me?

Setting up the game does not spoil the game in any way!

Feel free to join the game, as you're in for some great fun!

I have locks, chests, and props on hand. Can I integrate them into the experience?

Adding extra layers of complexity is always a nice touch!

All our games allow adding props, numeric locks and chests.

But as all our games are designed to be self-contained, you don't need any additional props or equipment to play.

But if you have them, you can certainly use them to make the game more fun and exciting!

Do I need to use card stock for printing?

All our games are designed for regular printing paper.

Want to go the extra mile to create a higher quality experience? Printing on card stock definitely offer the games a great look and feel!

How do I download the game?

Right on the order completion page you receive the download links for the files instantly.

To keep them safe, a copy of the download links is also delivered to your email.

Does the game end after 45 minutes?

Unlike real-life escape rooms, printable escape rooms are not time-limited.

You can take as long as you need to complete the game.

This means you can play at your own pace, take breaks if you need to, and come back to the game whenever you're ready.
