My family absolutely loved this Halloween Escape Room from Mystery Locks! It was easy to assemble, looked great and was a bit different from other printable escape rooms that we have done before, making it fun for everyone! Will definitely purchase from Mystery Locks again!
The game itself was too hard and not very fun.
This game was a blast for my teen students at my homeschool co-op. The game and details are all fabulous. The set up takes about 45 minutes to cut out and put together, and the game play takes 30-45 minutes. I have already purchased several of their games and will definitely be purchasing more.
This game is quick and easy to download, really well thought-out and a lot of fun. We set up two teams on Christmas and played for prizes. Would buy another game for another time. It was almost as much fun cutting out and assembling the packages.
The hunt went really well! My kids are 7, 9, and 12, and the level was just about perfect for them with the exception of a couple *really* easy ones. We gave the super easies to my 7 year old, and she was fine with it but one of them was truly too easy, maybe more appropriate for a child just learning to read (to solve the clue you just had to be able to read in a spiral). Otherwise, it was fun and good quality!
Looking forward to trying some of the higher level games and playing with adults!
Love, love, love this escape room we choose. I was using it for my 20 something kids (and their spouses) during the holidays. I was wondering if it would hold their attention, be challenging enough, and most of all be considered fun. The answer - yes, yes, and yes! Of the 3 couples our "gamer" was challenged but was knocking out each level. The "IT" guy struggled, but thought it was still fun. Our "creative one" needed a few hints, but did great overall. I added another component with them solving a riddle to find the card with the next code on it (I liked the racing around to find it). The graphics were top-notch! Lots of cutting, but I didn't mind it was so well put together. Highly recommend!
Our whole family did this on Christmas Eve, it was perfect! The puzzles were just challenging enough but solvable. This was so well thought out, the printable were beautiful and really made it engaging. Took a little time to assemble it all, used my paper cutter and glue tape. I assembled a few days ahead of time so it was ready to go and stress free when we did this. Everyone loved it and I will definitely do another escape room from this company again

I printed out most of the items on card stock except for the envelopes and the domino letter. Very cool and creative! We all had fun solve the puzzles. My kids are 12 and 14 and they were into it. We got stuck for a bit on the runes one, but figured it out and the rest of the puzzles without needing the hits. Recommend!
This one was more difficult than previous one purchased, but still a-lot of fun. Due to difficulty, it was better played with a smaller number of players - 3 to 4. Mainly due to amount of detailed items you had to look at. We did like that you had to use previous clues to solve future puzzles. Kept you focused.
